Green Deal Lack of Awareness

As well as being Chartered Building Surveyors we also have an Energy Assessing Department and one of those services is Green Deal Assessments. We have been producing assessments for those who are aware or those we have told about the scheme, however there is a definite lack of awareness to the scheme.

Green Deal is an opportunity to make energy efficiency improvements to properties without paying up front. A loan can be granted and the savings made will pay back the loan over a number of years. For the home owner their bills will not increase.

This is a great opportunity for landlords as they are able to improve their properties for their tenants without footing the bill.
