01254 774943 01254 774943 Our latest addition, Adrian Farnell, has seamlessly integrated into his new role of Energy Consultant. Within this highly-skilled role, Adrian is primarily responsible for the production of Energy Performance Certificates for both domestic and commercial properties. So far, this has taken him from shopping units to high-rise student accommodation, with frequent travel across the UK being all in a day’s work.
Adrian brings years of dedication and hard work to the table; after having graduated from university in the 90’s with a BSc in Environmental Science, he has continually worked in the energy conservation industry. A move up-north then prompted a shift into the renewable energy business, and subsequently, he’s carried out energy assessment and technical monitoring on hundreds of businesses. Across the Midlands through to the Lake District, he’s assessed everything from warehouses to hotels, dog parlours to pubs, through to chippies and shopping centres! Adrian has also designed many Solar PV systems and has been involved in the supply of air-source heating and biomass systems.
This array of experience is built upon a strong foundation of qualifications. Alongside his undergraduate degree, Adrian has a Master’s degree in Coastal Management, and is a fully qualified Domestic and Non-Domestic Energy Assessor. On top of all this, he’s also in the process of gaining his On-Construction accreditation, so that he can assist with our increasing portfolio of SAP assessments on new-builds and conversions.
Despite only recently joining the Aldrock family, Adrian already has his sights set on helping to develop our sustainable development business, by helping to implement ideas for the design and build of efficient, eco-friendly properties.
Adrian’s drive for sustainability and his exciting vision for future growth perfectly intertwines with our business integrity. This, twinned with his extensive experience and knowledge, makes him another fantastic addition to our expanding team of experts.
